Comprised of "10-in-1" canvases that form individual and collective paintings, Elements of Pinball playfully subverts common assets found in many pinball tables.
The artwork focuses on forms which are not restricted by the boundaries of the box cabinet--except of course the ball, which remains permanently locked, as evidenced by the fact that it extrudes into 3D space.
Ramps escalate and vanish, then reappear in dangerous places. The flippers remain poised and ready for the moment they'll never have. The various features of the table intersect with each other in non-Euclidean methods. The bumpers and the slings demand attention, as they always do, but in a way that cooperates more closely with other elements.
